AT THE MUSEUM

Cause when you attend a history-meets-art-meets-fashion exhibition opening – this “little” H&M Conscious Exclusive art piece seemed more than right thing to wear. And don’t worry, a separate post about the exhibition itself is coming up very-very soon.

ARTSY

Siit tuleb minu esimene katse kanda H&M Conscious Exclusive’i kollektsiooni esemeid ka “päris elus”. Soovitan soojalt.

Here is my first attempt to wear H&M Conscious Exclusive collection item outside the photo studio, also know as in “the real life”. I wore this artsy piece a week ago, on the second day of Riga Fashion Week, and as it was also the day we discovered that Riga is very brunch-friendly city, then I included some foodie pictures here as well from the place called Betty’s Corner. As they matched colour-wise and so.

LAST BUT OH-SO-NOT THE LEAST

See on käes!

It’s here! The day of the launch of H&M Conscious Exclusive this year’s collection. I do hope you have already hit the stores or at least H&M online store in order to get you hands on these amazing pieces. Today is also the day I am finally sharing with you the last set that was created for this collaboration, and let me tell you that I’m still having doubts while deciding which piece from this outfit is the most remarkable one. At first I was sure that the blouse is the definite winner but after I had put on this massive dark blue skirt – my heart and soul and all the rest was absolutely sold. Of course the blouse would be much easier to fit into any wardrobe but as Conscious Exclusive collections are always a bit more special, then in case you are looking for something more remarkable, then this skirt there is for the win.

LAUNCHING TOMORROW

Riia postituste vahele ei saa ma mainimata jätta, et juba homme jõuab Postimaja H&Mis (ja meil väga värskelt lansseeritud H&Mi veebipoes) müügile paljude poolt väga oodatud ja ihaldatud Conscious Exclusive kollektsioon. Sellega ühes jõuab homme siia ülesse viimane minu nägemuse saanud Conscious Exclusive’i komplekt, mis sai Sandra Palmi ja Liina Ütiga ühes loodud. Loodan, et need kaadrid on teile meeldinud ning et meeldib homnegi ning seni kuni mina sätin neid viimaseid pilte üheks postituseks pakun teile uudistamist ja lähivaadet kollektsiooni ametlikust tutvustusest eelmisel nädalal, H&M showroomis.

Taking a moment between all my Riga posts to remind you that tomorrow is the day when H&M will launch its Conscious Exclusive collection. Also, tomorrow I will post my last outfit of that collection that was created and photographed with Sandra Palm and Liina Ütt. I do hope that you have enjoyed these photos as much as I have and that you will also like the fourth one I will post tomorrow. But while I am putting these photos into a post, you are very welcome to take a look at the collection from the photos below that were made last week during the collection presentation event, in H&M showroom in Tallinn.

SEXY AND SUSTAINABLE

“It’s not how can you make sexy sustainable, it’s how you make sustainable sexy ..”

Let me just start by saying that I do not use word „sexy“ lightly. But at the same time I am the first one to admit that these photos here have that .. vibe. I also have to admit that this sexiness happened a bit by accident because I never planned to show that much skin at H&M Conscious Exclusive photo shoot – and this small top is actually a silk scarf from the same collection. But if a photographer says it looks good, who am I to disagree. Especially as I had these cool wide pants to pose with – can’t get enough of them wide pants at the moment – and these gorgeous earrings that are made of – drumrolls .. – from recycled denim. I really do not know how H&M does it, but oh-boy are they doing it well.

And another reason why I’m so into this set is the fact that all these items can be worn separately for years and years to come, making that investment into Conscious Exclusive collection rather practical and worth every penny.

THE MASTERPIECE

See mantel. See mantel, see mantel, see mantel .. See mantel on selline, mis paneb mind väljuma oma monokroomsetest toonidest ja panebki tahtma sellega pilke püüda, olgu kas siin fotol või H&M Conscious Exclusive’i kollektsiooni lansseerimise järel (7. aprill on jätkuvalt see maagiline kuupäev), nii-öelda “tavaelus”. Nagu te ehk aimate, siis tegemist on minu silmis absoluutselt kõige silmapaistvama esemega kogu tänavusest H&M Conscious Exclusive’i kollektsioonist ja mul jääb sõnadest puudu, et ära kirjeldada, kui imeline see teos – jah, ma kasutan sõna “teos” – on. Lisaks antud mantli välimuse loomisele väärib H&Mi jätkusuutliku disaini meeskond kiidusõnu ka selles osas, et see mantel on suuremas osas valmistatud taaskasutuspolüestrist (teisisõnu plastikpudelitest) ja orgaanilisest siidist. How cool is that? Kuid loomulikult ärge laske end ainult sellest mantlist pimestada – mantli alla sai antud komplekti raames valitud kaunimustriline kleit, mis ilma mingisuguse kahtluseta püüab pilke ka siis, kui see mantlita omapäi “linna peale lasta”.

That coat. That coat, that coat, that coat .. That is the coat that makes me want to give on all my monochrome wardrobe and just seek, while wearing it, all the attention it absolutely deserves. You may already realize from that kind of introduction that this coat is one of my favourite items from this year’s H&M Conscious Exclusive collection (still hitting them stores on 7th of April).  I have actually a bit hard time describing how wonderful I find this masterpiece – yes, I am using a word “masterpiece”. But while I may be a bit short of words, let me tell you one fact about the coat – it is mostly made of recycled plastic bottles and organic silk, how cool is that! H&M team that works on sustainable design – and especially on this collection – I applaud to you. And I also applaud to that gorgeous dress that deserves no less attention than the coat. I have no doubt it can be a true showstopper once it hits the town “on its own”.
