ABOUT LAST NIGHT

Few quick snaps from last night’s Baltika Group seasonal fashion event. As I was pretty much voiceless because of my recent cold, I tried to compensate this “silent mode” by dressing up a bit more than usual and finally wore this superb suit from H&M’s upcoming Studio collection – one of my favourite combos from the entire collection for sure.

BACK WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Was good to be back!

Maybe some of you have already seen the “photo evidence” in my Instagram, but it never hurts to retell what was it all about. So, last week I got to step really out of my comfort zone. And you know what? I had the best time! What I’m talking about is Baltika Group’s fashion show where they presented all their brands spring-summer collections. And why it was so special? Well, I was the one who got to present two Ivo Nikkolo sets – yes, as a model. First of all, I salute to all the models who do it on everyday basis – it was quite a madhouse behind the catwalk. Secondly, I want to send hugest thanks to the organizers who included me to this “real people as models” list, especially to Ivo Nikkolo show that was styled by Inga Vatsk-Laasner. The reason why I was more than happy to take part, was that the first set I got to wear was one of my favorites from Ivo Nikkolo’s Riga Fashion Week show, and secondly because internship in Ivo Nikkolo brand many-many years ago was also one of the turning points in my so-called fashion career. Was truly great to be back! And as it is absolutely true that there is a lot of waiting before any kind of fashion show, I managed to snap some behind the scenes moments from that day that I am more than happy to share.
